San Francisco: 007 Weekend May 26-28th
James Bond fans in the Bay Area won't want to miss the upcoming 007 Weekend to Thrill film festival taking place in San Francisco at the historic Castro Theatre on Memorial Day Weekend May 26-28th. It promises to be a good time!
This exciting three day event will be hosted by the 7ft 2in tall actor Richard Kiel, who played Jaws in the James Bond film's The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker. Besides appearances by Richard Kiel, James Bond fans will have access to many specialized vendors and get the opportunity to win Bond related prizes.
The Castro Theatre will be showing new prints of six classic Bond films including Dr. No (1962), Goldfinger (1964), From Russia with Love (1963), The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), Thunderball (1965) and On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969). Audiences will also be able to enjoy rare shorts and movie trailers with each double feature presentation.
