Cult Clip: The Tenant (1976)

Few directors have made as many effective and horrifying films as the award winning Roman Polanski, and one of his best thrillers is The Tenant (Le Locataire, 1976) which he also starred in. The film tells the disturbing tale of a man (Polanski) who rents an apartment and is haunted by the knowledge that the previous tenant committed suicide there. He begins to suspect that the other tenants in the building may have had something to do with the suicide and as his suspicions grow, he seems to loose his grip on reality.
