Cult Clip: Don (1978)

I'll gladly admit I know nothing about Bollywood, but I'm rather intrigued to find out more after seeing the trailer below for Don from 1978 and highlighted on the Electric Roulette website. Is it as good as this trailer suggests? Are there anymore Bollywood movies with soundtracks as catchy as this one? If you know, please let us know.

Oh yeah, baby, Don is every bit as good as that clip suggests. It's a beloved Bollywood classic with a fantastic cast, notably the two leads, the iconic Amitabh Bachchan and Zeenat Aman (in what may well be the ass-kicking-est female role in Indinan cinema). Try to get your hands on Shaan - it's somewhere between Bond and Austin Powers, and definitely south of the Himalayas. Parvarish is another of my favorites.

Note: Don was recently remade and the new one is much, much slicker. It's good too, but I don't think it's good in the way that you're looking for.
