Deep End cult movie screening plus free snacks and DJ Andy Lewis in London
Looking for a free night out with free food and best of all, a rarely-seen cult movie on the big screen? Welcome to The Macbeth Film Night and its screening of Deep End.
It takes place on Monday 4th October 2010, the main event being that screening of Jerzy Skolimowski's Deep End from 1970, which stars Jane Asher, John Moulder Brown and Diana Dors. It's a story of obsessive teenage love, exploitation and sexual jealousy apparently, a million miles away from the bright lights of swinging London.
Interesting soundtrack too, everything from Cat Stevens to Can. Talking of music, DJ Andy Lewis will be spinning the tunes - film soundtracks and other movie related music.
There's even complimentary hot dogs and popcorn available to all attending. Admission is free and doors open at 7pm. The Macbeth is at 70 Hoxton Street London N1, for more details, check out the Facebook page.
